Being on a glacier with unpredictable conditions really needs someone to be looking out for signs of danger and both of them really made that a top priority. As we moved off of the glacier towards the boat the leaders were great at reviewing everything we'd seen as well as generating enthusiasm for the return boat ride. I would highly recommend this tour just for the experience of being on the glacier. Our two guides were excellent. We were sorry about the change in tour because of the flooding, but the staff did a good job of communicating about it and adapting. Please high five them for me. We absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who is willing to go on a true active adventure. I had anticipated hearing typical teenage complaints about having to paddle a canoe, but neither one did and they never showed signs of fatigue. An amazing experience. Our guides were Superb! were awesome too! They were entertaining and kept everyone engaged and working together, especially during the canoe trip. It is a little strenuous as you canoe for an hour or so each way, and you scale down a soft dirt path, but no one on our trip missed anything. Only 2 tour groups are aloud to actually hike up onto the glacier & this company is one of them. They made the day so much fun. However, they were also outstanding in showing us places that were especially interesting. The trip was not too hard for this out of shape 60yo - guides were great - shocked that a few people didn't really paddle, but refuse to let that damper the great experience!
